He-shi Express Liquid Tan
My first favourite product of June was one that I actually used before and purchased it again after seeing it on offer in McCabes pharmacy. If you read my last post you will have seen I attended a wedding and this was the tan that I used for it. It is a liquid tan and a little goes a long way, I used my glove your body tan mitt to apply it all over my body using circular motions, you can immediatley see where you are applying the tan so you know where to apply, the liquid texture leaves you with no streaky lines and it dries in 2 minutes. I applied one layer two days before the wedding and then another layer the night before in order to achieve that deep golden tan. The result of the tan is a gorgeous golden colour that looks very natural, there is no orange hue to the tan which I am a big fan of. There is no fake tan biscuity smell of the tan either which is a big plus for me I hate the fake tan smell. I simply washed the tan off the next morning and was left with a deep golden colour. The only downside of the tan is it is a bit on the pricey side, it retails at €26.99 per 150ml. I picked up the 300ml up in McCabes for special offer of €32 which I feel is a bargain. Despite the price it is definitley worth it and I am so glad I picked this up in June as I had forgotten how much I loved it!
Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Shimmer Oil
If you haven't heard of the Cocoa Brown Shimmer Oil then I do not know where you have been living. Cocoa Brown is an Irish tanning company by the girl boss Marissa Carter. The Shimmer oil has been around for some time now but I only managed to get my hands on it in June. The packaging is gorgeous, it really gives off a classy and expensive feel. It is a dry oil which you can apply all over the body. To apply mine I used a clean tanning mitt and simply rubbed it in to my arms, legs, collarbones and using a fan brush I applied some to the tips of my cheekbones. I absolutely adored this product I truly felt like a golden goddess and the best thing I picked mine up for €9.50 in Penneys. This is a serious bargain comparing it to the Nuxe version which retails at €26.99 for 50ml.(same size as Cocoa Browns version) I loved the colour, its a really golden shimmer which makes your skin look healthy. I feel it really adds to my tan and you could even use it on its own if you want a natural shimmer. Khloe Kardashian is a big fan and if its good enough for a Kardashian its good enough for me! I will definitely be using this for the rest of the summer. Keep your eyes peeled for the Rose Gold Limited Edition launching soon I know I will!
Sleek 'Matte Me' Lipstick
Konjac Sponge
If you read my June GlossyBox review you will know that I talked about the konjac sponge. I have been using it for the past few weeks and I love it so much that I decided to feature it again in my June favourites. I use mine once a day usually after taking my makeup off to ensure I have thoroughly cleaned my skin. I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin, it is much softer since using this and who doesn't want soft skin? Definitely a favourite for me that I discovered in June. If you would like to read a more detailed review of this you can read my June GlossyBox Review.
