Anastasia Beverly Hills: Ultimate Glow Kit Review
The palette comes with six shades; (From left to right)
Snow - Icy, white colour
White Sand - Light golden colour
Golden Dawn - Yellow gold colour
Sunray - Deep gold colour
Amber Gold - Rose gold colour
Hot Sand - Warm bronze colour
As you can see there is a wide range of highlighting shades in this palette and you are bound to find one that suits any skin type. When I am not wearing tan I tend to focus on the lighter shades such as Snow and White sand and when I do have tan on for a night out my favourite shade to wear is a mix of Golden Dawn and Amber Gold. Some nights I mix all the colours together and you get the most beautiful highlight!
One of my favourite things about this palette is you do not just have to use it to highlight the usual features such as cheekbones, top of lip and nose. I also use this as a body highlighter on my collarbone, shoulders and legs, it looks so nice if you have a tan for that added something on a night out! I have also found it gorgeous under the eyebrow for some highlight, in the inner corner of the tear duct and if you have some fixing / settting spray, spray a flat eyeshadow brush then pat the shade on to the middle of your eyelid for an extra sparkle it is so nice, especially Golden Dawn and Hot Sand.
Compared to some other highlighting palettes and Anastasia Beverly Hills previous highlighter palettes this one is a lot more glittery compared to the others. However this did not really bother me as I love the glitter. I know from reading some other peoples thoughts on the palette they were not a fan of this so if you do not fancy a 'glittery' look then I would stay away from this palette and perhaps look at their previously launched highlighting palettes. There is quite a bit of fallout from the shades also so just be careful when applying it because you do not want it everywhere ( no matter how obsessed you are with highlighting!!)
I love this palette and if I am going to put some highlight on this is the palette I will reach for first. I always get complimented when I wear this so it is definitely worth the money ladies. It is expensive as its Anastasia Beverly Hills however I would recommend it to anybody it is just so fab on. It retails at €54.40 on Beauty Bay and I will leave the link below if you are interested.
