Part 2

Shopping

Hi everybody :)
I hope you enjoyed my last post on Orlando and picked up some tips. This post is going to be all about my shopping experience in Orlando. One of the biggest reasons I was so excited to go to America was the shopping, I could not wait to see all the American brands and be able to shop them without the hefty shipping charges! I did not hold back on shopping while over so if you are interested please keep reading.

The main shopping center in Orlando is the Florida Mall. It is HUGE and contains almost every shop you will be looking for. You will need a few hours to ensure you get around all of it. It is definitely the go to place for anybody who is looking for everything under one roof. There are quite a few shops that you will not go into but all the main American stores I was looking for were here such as Victoria Secret, Sephora, Abercrombie & Fitch, Macys, Mac and Charlotte Rusee. There is a really nice shop I found in the Florida Mall called Bebe, it is quite expensive but the clothes are gorgeous in it even if it is just for a look around.

Sephora was defintley my favourite shopping experience in Orlando. If you are interested in makeup and beauty you will love it. I actually visited three different Sephora's during my trip. The one in Florida Mall, there is also another smaller one located in the Florida Mall in JC Penney's and another in Disney Springs. The main Florida Mall one and Disney Springs one in my opinion were a lot better as they were better stocked than the one in JC Penney's. The staff in all Sephora's were helpful and friendly so do not be afraid to ask them questions. If you are purchasing anything in Sephora make sure to ask for a Beauty Insider Card, you receive points every time you purchase something and can use the points to pick up products at the tills, and the points never expire yay!

Another makeup store which I visited was Ulta. This is a mix of luxury and high street brands. I visited the one in The Loop at Kissimee but I think there may be one closer to the Florida Mall. They have a great range of makeup from Anastasia Beverly Hills to NYX. The one thing I loved about this store was how helpful the staff were. The girl who helped me really went out her way to make me feel valued and I loved that, she also gave me great advice.

The outlets we visited were the International Premium Outlets. We decided to visit these ones as I had heard these were better than the Vineland Premium Outlets. We went at around nine pm and it was quiet enough so if you are thinking of heading I would recommend to go in the evening. They stay open until 11. Again the outlets are filled with some shops you will go into and others you will not. I found some great bargains in Micheal Kors, Nike and Ted Baker. They also have a large Forever 21, it is quite messy and you will need time to look around properly if you want to find something good. In saying that however if you do some hunting you can find really nice things. In my opinion the Victoria Secret in the outlets is not great. A lot of the stuff they have are clothing and underwear that has not sold and you can see why.
However they do have some good deals on gift sets and perfumes. I picked up perfumes for $3.

Disney Springs is another great place for shopping. They have a great range of stores and restaurants and you could easily spend a few hours here. They also have a huge Disney Store, we picked up all our gifts here and it meant we did not have to drag them around the parks. There is also a separate Disney Christmas shop that is open all year round. If you are in anyways a lover of Christmas time you will love it, the decorations are so adorable, I wanted to buy everything!
