January GlossyBox

It's that time of the month again...GlossyBox! I received my first box of 2017 about two and a half weeks ago and because it is the first one of the year and I have not had a review of GlossyBox in general on the blog in a while I thought I would let you all know how I got on with this months products. 

This months box was essentially a detox box for the New Year and was introduced to us as 'The Edible Edit'. It was also in collaboration with Deliciously Stella who is a nutritionist. The box included five products as usual; 

Nip + Fab: Kale Fix Moisturiser
TheBalm: Meet Matt(e) Trimony Single Eyeshadow
Unani: Illuminate Milk Cleanser
Vitamasques: Manuka Honey Face Mask
True Organic of Sweden: All You Need Is Me!

As always I am just going to do a quick review on the products I liked the most from the box. This month my favourite products were the Kale Fix Moisturiser and Illuminate Milk Cleanser and 

Nip + Fab: Kale Fix Moisturiser 

Up first is the Nip + Fab Kale Fix moisturiser. Nip + Fab are a skincare brand that offer premium products at affordable

prices. I have used some of their products before and was surprisingly impressed so I was super excited to see this in this months GlossyBox. The moisturiser itself is supposed to be a 'superfood' moisturiser, as we all know kale is one of the most talked about health foods at the moment so it was not long before we saw it in beauty products. Along with Kale the mosituriser also contains watercress and almond oil (very fancy!)I have to say I absolutely loved this moisturiser! The first thing I noticed about it was the smell, it smells so good you honestly want to eat it when you're putting it on your face. The formula is really creamy and your skin feels instantly hydrated as soon as you put it on. As it is quite thick you do not need an awful lot so the bottle will last you a long while. It also dries in super quick so you are not left with a sticky feeling on your face. Overall I absolutely loved this product and feel it was a perfect product to start the new year off and I think I will re-purchase in the future.  

Unani: Illuminate Milk Cleanser 

Unani are a family run Spanish business who produce organic cosmetics. The milk cleanser is also an organic product and contains

natural oils which purifies and melts makeup off the skin. I do not use it with makeup on as I usually take my makeup off with micellar water and then wash my face with a cleanser to ensure all traces of makeup are off my skin.  To use you simply apply to dry skin and massage in, once massaged in rinse with water. The cleanser makes your skin feel amazing! I have honestly never used a product which claims to illuminate the skin, however this did. After one use I could see a glow to my skin. I have been using it morning and night for about two weeks now and my skin definitely feels more illuminated. The smell of the milk is also amazing! This brand has really intrigued me and after doing some research on the brand I am thinking of investing in some more bits. 
 

There you go girlies, a quick review on the products I liked the most from January 2017 GlossyBox. I really loved the whole skincare aspect of this months box and hope to see more of these fab companies through out the year especially Unani!
