Bellamianta Rapid Mousse Tan Review
Hello everybody, welcome back to Shauna's Fashion Files. I hope everybody's 2017 is getting off to a good start! Most Irish girls (including me!) are obsessed with fake tan so for this week's post I decided to do a review on the Bellamianta Rapid Mousse.
For anybody who has not heard of Bellamianta, they are an Irish brand who came onto the market just under a year ago and quickly become one of the most popular tans throughout the country with the likes of Suzanne Jackson and Tara O'Farrell giving their praises to the brand. Their product line consists of two tans - The Rapid Mousse and the Self Tanning Lotion, they also have extended this collection with shimmering oil, mitts and lashes. For this weeks blog post I will be reviewing the mousse.

The mousse claims to;
Dry in 60 seconds
Develop in 2-4+ hours
Have a golden olive tone
Ready to wear colour
Streak Free/ Easy to use
Transfer & Water Resistant
Even Wear Off
From many reviews I have heard that the luxury mitt is recommended to use when applying the tan as it ensures the tan turns out perfect. However I decided not to purchase this as I already have the Glove Your Body mitt and they seem almost identical. In saying that I would recommend you to purchase either glove if you are applying this tan as it really buffs it into the skin and does make a difference.

My first impression of the tan was the colour guide. It makes it really easy to ensure you do not miss anywhere when applying the tan. However as the tan does dry in very quickly (60 seconds) you have to make sure you work quickly with the tan and buff it into the skin as soon as you put it on. I loved the fact that the tan dries in so quickly as it means you are not waiting around for it to dry in and it does not have that sticky almost wet feeling that many other fake tans on the market have.
The colour immediately shows up on your skin and if you want to have a light tan they recommend to shower after 2 hours, 3 hours for a medium tan and 4 hours + for a dark tan. As I like to have a dark tan I always apply my tan before I go to bed and then wash it off the next morning to ensure I get the deepest colour possible. After applying the tan it can tend to look a little streaky and patchy (in my opinion) however once I showered these streaks disappeared and I was left with a lovely golden olive deep colour which the tan claims to do. Because of the streaks I would not wear this tan out after applying which is something that does not bother me as I always apply tan at night time.
The tan lasted me about 4-5 days once I kept moisturizing every day and it does not streak or go patchy which was a big thumbs up for me!
Overall I loved this tan, the deep olive toned colour is exactly what you want from a fake tan and the fact that it dries in so quickly makes it even better. If you are looking for a new tan to try I would defintley recommend you purchase this. The tan is available to purchase directly from the Bellamianta website which I will link below. You can also purchase it from various pharmacies around the country. The mousse costs around the €24 mark which I believe is reasonably priced for the end result you receive from the product.
There is my review of the Bellamianta Rapid Mousse. I hope you all liked it and let me know what you think. The lotion is next on my list to try and I will let you all know what I think of it when I try it. Thank you for reading everybody and as always,
Love,
Shauna
