Modern Renaissance Palette Review
Hello girlies. Happy New Year! This is my first post of 2017 as I have been so busy with college and exams :( Now that they are all over I thought I would do a review on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I purchased this on my trip to New York in November.

Anybody who is familiar with Anastasia Beverly Hills knows how amazing her eye shadows are and pretty much everything in her whole collection. When they announced the launch of this palette back in summer 2016 I knew I had to have it! I did try and get it in Orlando however it was completely out of stock everywhere. When I saw it in Sephora on Times Square I picked it up immediately before it could sell out on me again. I purchased mine for $42, which I think is really good value as you receive 14 shades in the palette along with a double ended shadow brush. The shadows are a present day take on Renaissance shadows and feature shades in neutral to berry tones. It also contains a mix of matte and shimmer shadows. The first thing that caught my eye on this palette was the choice of colours, you can create so many different types of looks and go from day to night easily. I have created so many looks with this palette especially over the Christmas when during the day I wanted more a toned down look and at night when I wanted to glam it up. I really think it is a staple palette for every girls makeup collection.
The eye shadows themselves have very good pigmentation and blend out really well which makes it easy to work with. My favourite thing about this palette was the mix of colours. It is not everyday you will see reds and pinks in a neutral palette and it makes playing around with this palette even more fun.
The only thing I did not like about this palette was the material used on the packaging. It gets dirty very eaisly and mine is already a mess. However in saying this it is something I can look past because this has been my go to palette for the past two months.
If you are looking to invest in a palette that has good colour pay off and has a range of colours I would definitley recommend you to purchase this, it has been one of my favourite purchases from America in 2016. Other good news about this palette it is not limited edition but will be part of their stock so if you miss out on it this time it will come back into stock again!
